The 2026 Thesis-to-Book Transformation Programme, organised by the UPM Press, is specifically designed for lecturers, researchers, and postgraduate students who wish to transform their theses into digital books through a professional and systematic publishing process.
Participants will be guided step by step in transforming their thesis content into a more focused, impactful, and reader-friendly book format. Publications from this programme will also be SCOPUS-indexed, just like other scholarly publications.

Orders can be made directly to UPM Press or through our distributor agents. Orders by mail must include payment with cross check, bank draft, consignment or postal order under the name of Bendahari Universiti Putra Malaysia and sent to UPM Press. Shipping period is within 7 working days from the date of payment received.
Replacement
All sales are final. Any damaged book caused by our side that is returned back to us will only be accepted within 14 days from the date of acceptance. Every return must include purchase receipt.
Credit Facilities
Credit facilities will only be given to distributors/sales agents appointed by UPM Press that had shown good records in their previous sales and payment.
The suggested title, namely title that is formed according to the publication planning, starts at the title proposal stage. Writer must submit: Publication proposal form, Biodata form, Title proposal submission letter. Example of the write-up (2-3 chapters of written draft).
Unplanned title, which is the manuscript that is accepted outside the planning of/beyond publication planning. Writer must submit: Publication proposal form, Biodata form, Complete material submission letter, Publication permission letter, if there are any materials being adapted from other sources. Complete printed manuscripts together with illustrations in diskette or CD-ROM.
Manuscripts should be typed on a computer with double spacing using suitable software, for example MS Word.
Manuscripts need to be printed on quality A4 size white paper.
Computer printout should be clear.
Hand written manuscripts are not accepted.
Material sent must include:
Complete manuscript with diskette / CD_ROM.
Letter of material submission.
Consent publication letter from writer / contributor / original publisher/source of material.
